Until December 2, Warner Bros.’ streaming service is offering treats. Discovery (formerly HBO Max) is offering new and returning customers 70 percent off their first six months of the Max with Ads subscription. Normally priced at $9.99 per month, the ad-supported plan is just $2.99 per month during the promotional period – and it includes free B/R Sports Add-On for a limited time.
Max with Ads subscribers can stream and watch in HD video resolution on two devices simultaneously. Other plans include the Ad-Free tier starting at $16.99 per month and the Ultimate Ad-Free plan that includes 4K Ultra HD streaming and Dolby Atmos for $20.99 per month.
The Black Friday deal comes after Max increased its monthly cost for its ad-free plans by $1, bringing prices to $16.99 to $20.99 per month or $169.99 to $209.99 per year.

Through December 2, new and eligible returning subscribers of Max with Ads can get the first six months for just $2.99 per month and the B/R Sports Add-On free for a limited time. After the promotional period, the subscription will automatically renew for $9.99 per month. You can also get the deal if you get the Max add-on through Apple and other streaming platforms.

While there are no offers for the Max add-on, you can get a free month of Hulu’s ad-supported plan ($7.99 per month). The Max add-on with ads costs $9.99 per month or $16.99 per month without ads. Other deals include the Disney+, Hulu, and Max bundle ($16.99 per month), which brings the total to 42 percent compared to individual subscriptions.
There’s also the Hulu + Live TV plan with Disney+ and ESPN+ starting at $82.99 per month with a three-day free trial.
